I’m not using this site as much as I did, I tend to use Flickr for day to day photos and Facebook for my 365 project. I intend to use this site for my portfolio, a collection of fine art photography and models. I will probably start the update over the Christmas break.

This morning I arrived at Jordan lake at 6am and I went on the hunt for Bald Eagles. It wasn’t long before I spotted two Eagles fishing but my vision was blocked by foliage and they were too quick for me to capture. I did manage to capture a few shots of them in flight and I got an Osprey bringing home it’s catch.
I got a new camera this week, the Nikon D700. Here are a few shots I’ve taken with it so far.

Lucy had her birthday party today at McDonalds (her idea!). She had a great time and all her friends came out to join her. You can view more pictures here
The garden is just starting to show the first signs of spring. I can’t wait for the bugs to show up too.
With the weather on Sunday being 60 degrees and sunny, we decided to make the most of it and go to the zoo. You can see all the photos here
Every evening brings a new sunset. Different shades and colors make each one unique and being there at the right time makes all the difference.
I’ve been taking sunsets of the Flower’s pond for almost a year now and I have captured some great shots but tonight’s set of photos are by far my favorites. This may be due to my own skill level being higher and knowing just how to capture the best light or it may just be luck. Anyway here are the shots.
The first one has been heavily edited to give the surreal look I was after and the second one has only minor edits and is almost as captured. I took a lot more and had a hard time narrowing it down to two. I will post some more of this set in the galleries.
